Carolyn Forster.JPG Following a career in nursing, Carolyn returned to study at QUB.  On successful completion of a B.A.Hons. degree and Dip. Ed. she diversified into education and now lectures in Essential Skills. She is a past President of QWGA.

As an active member of British Red Cross for almost 30 years, having been present at the scenes of some of the worst atrocities in Northern Ireland, Carolyn was awarded the Red Cross Badge of Honour for devoted service.

She is an Independent member of the District Policing Partnership.

Having had a lifelong involvement with St. Anne's Cathedral, Carolyn served on the Board of the Cathedral for 20 years.  She has the honour of being the first female ever to have been appointed to the position of Church Warden - initially in 2003, then again in 2008.

Carolyn is currently secretary of QWGA and treasurer of Women's Forum NI.
